This long, private, garden had great potential but needed a really good design to reimagine the space. The existing sandstone patio was groggy and dated looking and the planting in the garden was overpowering.
We agreed a much more modern and paired back design would be ideal for both the client and the space. We used smooth cream limestone to create an elevated, bright open terrace. The terrace overlooks a structured and defined main garden, with wide profile steppingstones dissecting the lawn, drawing the eye down to the rear of the garden, which houses the garden shed.

The existing mature hedges and apple trees we’re kept and were key to retaining a sense of maturity to the new design.
