The client’s brief for this garden was to have a clean, contemporary garden that was low maintenance. We have kept an open feel-through with oversized steps up onto the tiered lawn. By taking the grey look off the dominant walls with an off-white render we achieved the bright and neutral backdrop for the new treeline. This gives the crisp contemporary garden that the client had dreamed of.

The main focal point is created along the full length of the living room window, simple structural planting is achieved with Ilex Crenata cones interplanted with vibrant color. A kitchen garden is also included in the client’s wishlist, to be kept in style with the clean look of the rest of the garden. We have created a feature Arbour Seating area next to a formal layout of raised veg beds accessible from the main family terrace.
