This is a family who wanted to link their lives much more strongly to the outdoors. We created a defined lounge area to enjoy the balmy summer evenings in the garden. We added a water feature close by, so the sound could be enjoyed from both the house and the garden. The kids have their own play area and finally, the family has their much longed-for veg patch. We created the perfect garden design to suit their lifestyle.

Surrounded on all sides by a very substantial & beautifully pointed granite wall, their privacy was already well and truly secured, allowing for a vibrant color wheel of planting to be embraced.

As this particular client hopes to become a keen gardener, we went for generous flower beds bursting with life and character. Country classics set the planting scheme, clusters of Rudbekia’s sunny yellows next to Leucanthemum Daisy and Peroskia blues merge one the next along these herbaceous borders. They have created a garden now that is bursting with diversity for our declining pollinator species.
