This garden is a showpiece of classic style and feminine charm.
A special composition of client & designer, striking a delicate balance between symmetry and special features. Deliberately honing into an honesty to materials with neutral granite, along with the existing backdrop of beautiful aged stone wall, allows this garden dare to be different while still retaining a classical look.
Symmetrical beds are abundant with Hydrangea Limelight, with even more white fancies of Astillbe and Agapanthus and a gentle sprinkling of Verbena Bonariensis and Lavender.
A linear walkway runs the length of the sunny side of the garden, tree lined with Bay and Ilex Topiary lead up to the centre-piece Urn. It was very important for the client that the prized antique Urn be moved from an unviewed area to become focal and a centre point of the garden. Thoughtful lighting was used throughout to highlight the main features and to create an impressive outdoor scene as viewed from the house and terrace.
The indulgent soft pink loungers are surrounded by sweet smelling Lavender and overflowing planters. Creating the perfect setting for an evening glass of wine with friends.
